NOT THAT CONVERSATION
If you have already said no to someone wanting your data, read the difference
Plenty of firms have refused a broker wanting their customer list, or a platform wanting to monetise their records. Those were probably the right calls. This differs in four specific ways, and if none of them lands, refuse this too.
THE SCEPTICAL QUESTIONS
What firms who already refused once ask
Everyone says they are different.
They do. The testable claims here are that we do not want your customer list, nothing is listed anywhere, and ownership does not transfer. Put all three to us on the call.
Are you reselling to the same people who approached us before?
We anonymize the material, build it into data sets, and supply AI labs. We do not disclose which labs take which data.
What is materially different about the structure?
A bounded licence to defined operational data. No transfer of ownership, no equity, no debt, and no ongoing access.
What if we still think it is the same thing?
Then decline. It will have cost a short conversation and there is no fee at any stage.
